1. What Data Can Be Deleted
We can delete:

- Project enquiries or forms you submitted
- Marketing preferences and mailing list data
- Stored project files or documents relating to you
- Any data stored in project management tools (Notion, Trello, etc.)
- Analytics data connected to your identity
- AI automation logs associated with your account
2. What Cannot Be Deleted
Some data must legally be retained, including:
- Invoices and financial records (required for accounting — kept for 7 years)
- Active project files that are still under contract
- Data required to defend legal claims
- System-level backups that are not individually editable
This data is securely stored and removed once legally permitted.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion, please email:
Include:
- Your full name
- Email address used with DFT Express
- Any relevant project or enquiry references
- A short message confirming you want your data deleted
Example:
“I would like to request deletion of all personal data you hold about me.”
4. How Long It Takes
We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 48 hours
- Complete deletion within 30 days (standard UK GDPR timeframe)
If we require additional verification, we will contact you.
5. Verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to confirm:
- Your identity
- Your connection to the data
- Relevant project details
We only process deletion requests from the data owner or authorised representative.
6. Confirmation of Deletion
Once complete, you will receive written confirmation that your data has been removed from:
- CRM
- Emails
- Project management tools
- Analytics platforms
- Third-party services where applicable
